In Paris, artist Mahn Kloix has partnered with the centrally located Ecole Renard to transform the school’s walls into a canvas depicting the “journeys” refugee children in different countries undertake to attain an education and how EU and UNHCR work together to bring these children closer to their dream. The installation, titled ‘The Extra Mile’, includes cutouts of refugee children from Venezuela, Syria, Ukraine, South Sudan, Myanmar and Afghanistan walking to school.
